FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions

How does the service work?
You can request a ride through the app by selecting your pick-up and drop-off points. Pay via credit/debit card, or you can by “Ride Credit” within the app. You may share the ride with others heading in the same direction.

Where will I be picked up and dropped off?
We operate corner-to-corner within the service zone. There are no fixed stops—just locations near you. The app will guide you to the nearest pick-up point. Some walking may be required.

Are the vehicles safe?
Yes, all vehicles are registered with the Ajman Transport Authority.

How do I download and register on the app?
Download the Ajman Vehicle on Demand app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
To register:

  • Click ‘Get Started’
  • Enter your details
  • Tap ‘Join’ and you’re all set to ride.

Why do I need to add my card details?
Your card is used to ensure seamless, cash-free rides. You can also pay using “Ride Credit.” We charge your card automatically after each trip.

What’s the minimum age to use this service?
You must be at least 16 years old.

Can I schedule a ride in advance?
No, this is an on-demand service. Simply book when you’re ready to leave, and we’ll match you with the nearest available vehicle.

How do I identify my vehicle?
Your app will show the vehicle’s details, including number plate and type. All vehicles are branded with our logo.

Is my personal information safe?
Yes, your details are secure and protected.

How can I give feedback?
Provide feedback after you ride in the app or email us anytime at ajmanvod@thebusondemand.com.

What if I leave something in the vehicle?
Email us at ajmanvod@thebusondemand.com or raise a ticket via the app. If found, your item will be returned to the depot for collection.

Can I change my drop-off location after boarding?
To avoid delays for other passengers, we cannot change drop-off points once the ride starts. You can cancel and rebook before boarding if needed.

How do I see my ride history?
Go to Menu → History in the app to view past rides and payments.

What if my driver leaves without me?
Raise a ticket in the app. We’ll cancel the ride and help you rebook.

Can children ride?
Children under 13 can ride when accompanied by an adult.

Can I eat or drink in the vehicle?
Please help keep our vehicles clean by avoiding food and drinks during your ride.

Can I carry luggage or personal items?
You may bring one piece of luggage or a reasonably sized bag. Space is limited in shared vehicles.

I forgot to add extra passengers during booking!
No worries—raise a ticket in the app. If seats are available, we’ll update your booking. If full, you may need to make another booking.

How many passengers can I book at once?
You can book up to 2 riders per trip.

How many people can I refer?
There’s no limit! Refer to as many friends and family as you like.

How can I reset my password?
Click “Forgot password” in the app or email us at ajmanvod@thebusondemand.com.

Have I been overcharged?
Please contact support at ajmanvod@thebusondemand.com or raise a ticket in the app.

Can I call to check ride delays?
The app updates you in real time. If needed, email us or raise a support ticket.

 What is your Zero Tolerance Policy?
Ajman Vehicle on Demand has a strict Zero Tolerance policy. The Ajman Vehicle on Demand service platform, nor do we tolerate inappropriate behaviour by drivers towards passengers. If you believe that your driver is behaving in a manner that you consider inappropriate or that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if your driver engages in conduct which could be considered unlawful or illegal, please ask the driver to terminate the trip immediately. If you feel that you are in imminent danger, please contact the police directly by calling 999. After the ride has concluded, please provide feedback using the Ajman Vehicle on Demand app or email us at ajmanvod@thebusondemand.com to report the issue.
